Marty Lurz reports for Precinct 7. “We've had two recent overnight business burglaries in which laptop computers were taken: 1) Charles Blazek Company, 20 East. Timonium Road 08/26/2003 - Entry was gained through an unlocked side door. The suspect/s stole two Toshiba laptop computers. 2) Yellow Book USA 1850 York Road 08/30/2003 - Entry was gained by smashing out the front door glass with a rock. The suspect/s stole a Dell laptop computer. Please remind everyone to be aware of the security measures in their buildings. You'd be surprised at the numbers of burglaries that occur in which entry is gained through an unlocked door or window. The Baltimore County Police Precinct 7 Community Outreach Team would be more than happy to conduct security surveys for any businesses that may be interested. Forum members can call me at 410-887-1820 to request a survey.” |
