Chairwoman Eileen Edwards introduced Professor Andrea
Giampetro-Meyer of Loyola College to lead our discussion of the book
“Generations At Work”.
The book deals with the challenges created today by our
multi-generational workforce. Our discussion focused on the real events
in our own businesses that the book brought alive. Many of those
attending shared the experiences they have had with the joys and sorrows
of meeting the needs of a varied employee population with diverse
expectations. The challenge is to understand the differences and still
be able to encourage harmony in the workplace while achieving goals.
