People attending introduced themselves and gave a brief message describing their company.

Steve Woods of member Workforce Metrics lead a small group in a very interactive discussion of the dynamics of our multi-generational workforce. The understanding of the composition of today’s IT workforce leads to greater success in making better selections with greater long-term success probabilities.

Steve discussed the challenges in dealing with Veterans, Boomers, Gen Xers and the Nexters mixed together in the work place.

The interest level in the material Steve discussed was high enough to keep those attending until 10:00. Here’s a comment from Susan Boresen of Systems Alliance:

“Steve - Kudos on a very well managed forum this morning. As a presenter clearly well versed in your material, it can be frustrating to accommodate the free flow of conversation when an agenda is at hand. You handled the detours and tangents remarkably well and for this, I believe the discussion tremendously benefited. The subject at hand is of great interest and relevance to me as I strive
each day to define myself in this dynamic world of ours.”
