Each year, federal, state and local governments buy billions of dollars worth of goods and services through prime and subcontract awards. Government buyers want to add new sources to their supplier base. Learn how to receive counseling on government contracting and how your company could receive procurement preferences.

The Maryland Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP), a program managed by the Maryland SBDC Network, can help companies identify, bid and perform on government prime and subcontracts. Their expert staff and consultants can provide counseling on all aspects of government contracting.

Hunt Valley is a HUBZone, (Historically Underutilized Business Zone). HUBZone certified businesses receive preferences when bidding on Federal contracts. These benefits could include “set-asides,” “sole source,” and “subcontracting goals.” Learn how to become a certified HUBZone company and how to take advantage of its benefits.

Presenters:
