In an effort to manage health care
costs, increase productivity, and improve the general health of
employees, employers are interested in promoting Employee Wellness
Programs. These Programs can take a variety of forms--from workplace
walking and weight loss programs, to completion of Health Risk
Assessments, to payroll deduction differences for health care
coverage to encourage good health behavior. With each of these
programs comes a variety of compliance concerns. This Presentation
will address compliance considerations in wellness programs,
including requirements under ADA, Gina, and HIPAA, to insure that
your wellness programs are in compliance with the myriad of
regulations that may impact them.

unfortunately become a dynamic, that if steps are taken through a
violence prevention program --can be controlled. The Program starts
when the prospective employee begins the application process, and
continues until the employment ends. Warning signs are always
present through the process--the question is-- do the policies in
place sufficiently inform us how to react to the warning signs?
