Presenters: Dr. Doris Van Doren, Professor of Marketing, Loyola College, teaches marketing and electronic commerce courses in the MBA program at Loyola College. She publishes regularly in the areas of service marketing and marketing planning, and recently published two articles on Internet marketing in the Journal of Consumer Marketing and the Journal of Marketing Communications. Dr Van Doren also consults with medium-sized companies focusing on strategic planning and marketing competence. John W. Hebeler, Jr., Vice President Electronic Commerce Architecture, Deutsche Bank Alex Brown, and Adjunct Professor, Loyola College, has almost 20 years of experience with Internet technologies, most recently focusing on electronic commerce. His numerous publications center on the effective use of technologies to advance business goals and he is currently working on an electronic commerce textbook with Dr. Van Doren. Mr. Hebeler and Dr. Van Doren developed and teach electronic commerce courses at Loyola College. Lawrence E. Burgee, Executive Director Lattanze Center for Executive Studies in Information Technology, and Adjunct Professor, Loyola College, has 15 years of experience in the field of information technology and has been working on Internet and Web projects since 1994. Mr. Burgee teaches business support technologies in the MBA program and international marketing and international business in the undergraduate program. He is currently completing a PhD program in information systems at UMBC where he is studying international and cultural issues in electronic commerce.
