Leadership Corner

Dear Hunt Valley Business Forum Members,

Carolyn Panzer Happy Labor Day Weekend! I would like to start off by thanking all of our sponsors and golfers who participated in our Golf Classic at the beginning of the month at Hayfields Country Club. It was a great success and we are already looking forward to next year’s event!

Fall is quickly approaching and we are looking forward to all the events that are scheduled for the coming months. Our September events include an HR Symposium, a sales-focused interactive workshop presented by The Growth Coach, and a networking luncheon and roundtable discussion at Fazzini’s Taverna. The Growth Coach Workshop and Networking Luncheon require pre-registration, so don’t forget to visit our website in advance to register! Also don't forget to nominate your business for our Business Excellence awards-- the deadline is September 6th!

As you begin to comb through school, work, and personal calendars be sure to add our Annual Meeting on October 12th and our Holiday Party on December 1st. These are great events that you don’t want to miss!

News and Community Updates

Important message from Officer Kevin Kahl of Cockeysville:

Make sure businesses are secure during the evening hours. Such as making sure all lighting works, alarms are set and doors are secured. We have had a slight increase in commercial burglaries in lower Cockeysville as of late. Also Officer Kahl is available to schedule Security Surveys at businesses to go through these processes to keep them from being victims. He can be contacted at:
