ADVOCACY DAY – Annapolis, Maryland – Public Policy Committee and Executive Director on February 7, 2024
HVBF had a very productive day in Annapolis with Maryland Chamber of Commerce and Executive Director Hunt Valley Business Forum with HVBF Public Policy Chair and Committee Danielle Bridge Jennifer Busse Kate Sanft.
HVBF is a proud Federation Partner Member with Maryland Chamber of Commerce Since April 2023. As part of this partnership, the Government Affairs Team lead by Andrew Griffin and Hannah Allen provide timely and relevant updates monthly regarding business issues, with regard to regulations and current/future legislation that will impact our membership and companies in and around the Greater Hunt Valley area.
HVBF had face to face meetings with Senators and Delegates on several key bills that are in legislation. Many of these bills Maryland Chamber of Commerce is opposing as they would have negative outcomes for small to mid size businesses doing business in Maryland.
